On Thursday, October 24, San Diego High seniors had their chance to submit baby pictures for this year’s yearbook. The deadline for sending in these photos was October 24, giving students a few weeks to find and submit a picture from when they were little. These photos are a popular part of the yearbook, giving students and staff a fun way to look back at their school community. In addition to baby pictures, this year the yearbook staff is taking club photos during lunch periods. Photos will be available until Tuesday, November 5, and students are encouraged to sign up now. Unlike previous years, the yearbook staff will not be visiting club meetings to take photos, so students must come during the designated lunch times. Yearbook staff members said these pictures help capture school life and document memories that students can look back on for years. Students who missed the baby photo deadline can still be in the yearbook through club and class photos, but staff encourage getting all submissions in on time to make sure nothing is left out. These efforts show how the yearbook team is working hard to capture as much of student life as possible.

Our Goal
Thanks to generous support from the San Diego High School Foundation, Alumni Association, and Parent Teacher Student Association, our goal for online fundraising has been dramatically adjusted. Donations here will support our annual website hosting costs and help both journalism and yearbook students attend the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention. Please help us reach our goal!
