Does social media have a effect on the lack of sleep and academics?
Isa Iturra | A freshman at San Diego high school graduating in 2029. She serves at the editor-in-chief for the school News site, the Russ. She is a very passionate writer and was inspired to join journalism because of her interest in writing, sharing her views, stories, and opinions with others.
Isa Iturra | A freshman at San Diego high school graduating in 2029. She serves at the editor-in-chief for the school News site, the Russ. She is a very passionate writer and was inspired to join journalism because of her interest in writing, sharing her views, stories, and opinions with others.
Nathan Williams | A senior inside his class of 2026 at San Diego High School and an active member of his school and local community. He is currently the Website Managing Editor for The Russ newspaper publication while also dabbling in the writing aspects here and there. Nathan has been apart of The Russ for a year and half now and has seen the uptick in participation and overall positive response to the publication as a whole. He is really looking forward to seeing what new knowledge and information the JEA Convention will bring to The Russ and its staff, for the future endeavors planned.
Nathan Williams | A senior inside his class of 2026 at San Diego High School and an active member of his school and local community. The English Language Development (ELD) team invites Cavers to come learn about and celebrate the diverse cultural backgrounds of our multilingual learners. Our ELD students will be presenting their culminating project where they will share the significance and origins of the cultural elements that are meaningful to them.

This event will take place in the Library on the following days:

Monday, May 11 – Periods 5 and 6
Wednesday, May 13 – Periods 5 and 6
